Warming up the decks…
Taht El Amar brought outdoor cinema to Lebanon, selling beanbags and VIP lounges online and at the door, with its own team running the door on Blend's devices. When its second edition had to be canceled for weather, Blend refunded every ticket instantly, and the data from both screenings is now shaping which film plays at the third.

Taht El Amar is an outdoor cinema concept in Lebanon, built around seating rather than standing room or folding chairs: beanbags for general admission and lounges for VIP guests. Two editions have run on Blend so far, with a third in planning.
Blend (blendapp.ai), an event ticketing and registration platform for organizers in Lebanon and the UAE, ran the ticketing, the white-label event page and the door for both editions, all on devices operated entirely by Taht El Amar's own team, with no Blend staff on site.

Taht El Amar is an outdoor cinema concept: screenings held outside, with the audience seated on beanbags or in VIP lounges rather than standing or on folding chairs. It is a new kind of event for Lebanon, with no existing ticketing playbook to borrow from.
Edition 1 ran in Lebanon, at Boha in Kaslik, from Thursday 27 to Friday 28 August 2026, screening Grown Ups and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and selling 180 tickets. Edition 2 ran at The Neighborhood in Beit Mery, also in Lebanon, around 26 to 27 September 2026, with roughly 150 tickets sold before it was canceled for weather. A third edition is now in planning.

Taht El Amar had already tried a competitor's standard event-ticketing setup, and it didn't fit. Outdoor cinema doesn't sell like a concert or a club night: seating has to be sold by type, beanbags separately from VIP lounges, and the standard platform had no clean way to do that.
Without it, the team was left running things manually: registration forms and WhatsApp messages, with invitees scattered across guest lists, direct messages and group chats, and no single place holding every attendee, paying or invited, in one list.
Taht El Amar now runs its ticketing, its door and its post-event analysis on Blend, all from one system its own team operates directly. It is the same event ticketing platform organizers in Lebanon use for everything from community runs to product launches.
Outdoor cinema seating isn't one-size-fits-all: beanbags are general admission, lounges are VIP. Taht El Amar sells both as separate ticket types, online in advance and as walk-ins at the venue, inside one system, so every seat, whichever type, lands in one attendee list.
Taht El Amar's screenings live on their own branded page rather than a generic shared listing, so the event looks and feels like theirs, not like a line item on a competitor's directory.
Blend trained Taht El Amar's team once, and they ran the door themselves for both editions on Blend's own devices, scanning tickets at entry with no Blend staff on site.
Discounts and invited guests move through the same flow as paid tickets, so comped seats and sold seats sit on one attendee list instead of a separate spreadsheet or door list.
Taht El Amar's ad campaigns point straight at the event page, so the team can see what each campaign actually brought in, not just how many people clicked.
Post-event analysis on Blend shows which movie performed and which attendees liked which film: the input Taht El Amar is using to choose what plays at its third edition.

Any outdoor event can be rained out. What happens next, to a crowd that already paid, is where a ticketing platform either protects an organizer's reputation or costs them one.
Across two editions, Taht El Amar sold out its first screening's planned run, weathered a canceled second one without a single refund dispute, and walked away with the audience data to plan its next move.
| Edition | Venue | Dates | Tickets sold | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edition 1 | Boha, Kaslik, Lebanon | 180 | Held: screened Grown Ups & How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days | |
| Edition 2 | The Neighborhood, Beit Mery, Lebanon | ~150 | Canceled for weather; refunded instantly | |
| Edition 3 | To be announced | In planning | Not yet held | Planned |
The standout isn't the screenings themselves, it's what happened after them. Blend's post-event data showed Taht El Amar which movie worked and which audience liked which film: insight the organizer is now using to pick what plays at its third edition. Pair that with the instant refunds on the one night that went wrong: Blend protected the audience's trust on the worst possible night, and handed the organizer a smarter edition three.
