Warming up the decks…
One system for the whole weekend: passes on sale, guests through the gates, wristbands at the bars, and the numbers in front of you while it is all still happening.
A festival is three operations at once: an on sale, a set of gates and a village of bars and vendors. Run on three tools, they give you three guest lists and a reconciliation job on Monday. On Blend they are one event. The guest who bought a weekend pass is the same record that scanned in on Friday and tapped a wristband at the bar on Saturday.
Everything below is part of the Blend platform for organizers, so you can start with ticketing alone and add cashless when the site is ready for it.
Set up the ticket structure a festival actually sells.
Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and on events priced in US dollars they can also pay with Whish. The ticket arrives by email and in the Blend app as a QR code. If you want the on sale to live on your own brand and domain, Blend can run it from a white-label ticketing website.
Give each gate its own scanner by issuing a code per phone. On a multi day festival a scanner is set to a day: a Saturday ticket scans on Saturday, and a weekend pass scans once each day. A ticket that was already used is flagged.
Inside the site, zone readers check passes again at the doors that matter, such as a VIP deck or backstage, by ticket type and without using up the guest's entry. For anyone who turns up without a ticket, Walk-in Sale sells one at the gate from a phone. More on access control and check in.
Pair an NFC wristband to each guest at the gate and it becomes their ticket and their wallet. They load it by card from their phone or with cash at a top-up booth, then tap to pay at every bar and food stand. Guests without a wristband can pay with the QR on their ticket.
Each vendor sells from a phone paired to their booth, with their own menu. You see spend per booth live, take refundable deposits for cups, and settle every vendor from one Payouts tab after the event. How cashless payments work on Blend.
Ticket sales are in the Finance page of your console with the processing fee separated out, so the revenue you see is yours, and payouts land in your account within days of the event. The processing fee is paid by the buyer at checkout. See how pricing works.
Add the dates, the site and the artwork. Create an event to start.
Add day tickets, multi day passes and tiers with their sale dates, then your add-ons.
Give each promoter a code and link before the first release goes live.
Decide your gates, inner zones, bars and top-up booths with us, then pair the devices.
Scan at the gates, sell at the bars, and watch both from the console.
Festival setups depend on the site, so the fastest route is a conversation. Contact us with your dates and expected crowd. You can also read about ticketing in Lebanon and see festivals on Blend.
Sell day tickets and multi day passes from one event page, release them in tiers with their own sale dates, and give promoters tracked codes. On Blend the same system then scans guests in and runs cashless payments on site.
Yes. Day tickets and multi day passes sit on the same event. At the gate a day ticket is admitted on its own day and a multi day pass on each of its days.
An NFC wristband is paired to the guest at the gate. They add money by card from their phone or with cash at a top-up booth, then tap the wristband to pay at bars and vendors.
Yes. A guest can show the QR code on their ticket and the vendor's till scans it to charge their event wallet.
Use zone readers. Each one stands at an inner door and admits only the ticket types you tick for that area, without using up the guest's entry to the festival.
Yes. Walk-in Sale turns a phone into a till that sells tickets at the gate, separate from the scanners.
