To sell out an event in Lebanon, go on sale as soon as the date and venue are fixed, price in US dollars, let buyers pay by card or Whish, and release tickets in waves that each have a real deadline. Then give every promoter a tracked code, share one ticket link everywhere, and keep the door fast on the night.
A sold out night is decided before the first ticket is bought. Four things do most of the work: a price buyers recognise, a way to pay that they already use, people who sell for you, and a reason to buy today instead of next week.
None of them needs a large budget. They need to be set up before you announce, on one system, so that the link you post, the checkout behind it and the door on the night all read the same list. That is what ticketing in Lebanon on Blend is built to do.
As soon as the date and the venue are confirmed. Every week on sale is a week your promoters can sell and a week you can announce something: the line up, the first release closing, the last tables.
Do not wait for the perfect poster. Publish the event page with the name, date, venue and one strong image, add the first ticket type, and share the link. The line up and the frequently asked questions can be added to the same page later.
Reward the people who decide first. Open with an early release at your lowest price and a limited quantity, then move to a regular release, then a final one. Each step gives you a truthful message to post: this price ends on Friday.
On Blend a release can be its own ticket type with its own price, quantity and sale dates, or a timed price wave inside one ticket type. Either way the change happens on the dates you set, so nobody has to edit a price at midnight.
Price in US dollars, the way buyers in Lebanon already pay for events, and offer more than one way to pay. On Blend the buyer chooses between a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where their device supports it, and Whish on events priced in US dollars.
Whish matters because many buyers would rather approve a payment from their Whish app than type a card number. The ticket is issued when Whish confirms the payment, so there is no transfer screenshot to check and no name to match against an amount by hand.
Club nights, concerts and festivals in Lebanon sell through people as much as through ads. Treat promoters as a sales channel with its own numbers. Give each one a code and a tracked link, decide what their buyers save and what they earn, and check the list every few days.
Because each sale is credited at checkout, you can see who is selling while there is still time to act: give your strongest promoters more to work with, and ask the quiet ones what they need.
Urgency works when it is true. Use limits that the system enforces, then say exactly what they are.
Everywhere, and always the same link. Put the event link in your Instagram bio and stories, send it to your WhatsApp groups, and hand promoters their own tracked versions of it. A buyer should never have to ask where to buy.
If your brand is the draw, sell from your own white-label ticketing website, with your name and domain in front and the same checkout behind it. Running a seated show or a festival? See concert ticketing and festival ticketing.
A full room is only a success if the queue moves. Every Blend ticket is a QR code that your staff scan with a phone camera. A valid ticket is admitted and a ticket that was already scanned is flagged, so one code cannot let two people in.
For a high demand night, turn on the rotating barcode: the code refreshes on a timer and a forwarded screenshot does not scan.
Turn on the waitlist instead of closing the page. Buyers who arrive late can join it and are not charged unless they are moved off it, which tells you how much demand you left on the table for the next date.
After the night, export the guest list, look at which release and which promoter sold most, and follow the money in the Finance page of your console. Payouts land in your account within days of the event. Planning something larger? Contact the Blend team. Access codes, purchase limits, promoters and the waitlist depend on your plan: see how pricing works.
Questions
As soon as the date and venue are confirmed. An earlier on sale date gives promoters more time to sell and gives you more releases to announce before the event.
Yes. On Blend events priced in US dollars, buyers can choose Whish at checkout, approve the payment in their Whish app and receive their ticket once Whish confirms it.
Give each promoter their own code and tracked link. Every sale made with that code or through that link is credited to the promoter at checkout, and the promoter list shows tickets and revenue for each one.
You can turn on a waitlist. Buyers who arrive after the event is full can join it, and they are not charged unless they are moved off the waitlist.
Set purchase limits for the event. They cap how many tickets one buyer and one device can hold across all of their orders, and they are enforced at checkout.
