How to Buy Event Tickets Online in Lebanon: Cards, Whish and Wallets

How do you buy an event ticket online in Lebanon?

It takes a few minutes on a phone, and the steps are the same for a concert, a club night or a workshop.

• Open the event page and check the date, the venue and what each ticket includes.
• Choose your tickets and how many. For a seated event, pick your seats on the map: they are held for you while you check out.
• Enter your details. The ticket is sent to the email address you give, so check it twice.
• Choose how to pay, review the total and confirm.

Which payment methods can you use?

On Blend you can pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Amex card, with Apple Pay or Google Pay where your phone or browser supports it, and with Whish on events priced in US dollars. Card payments are processed by Stripe.

Before you pay you see the ticket price, the processing fee as its own line, and the total. If you have a discount or promoter code, enter it at checkout and the total updates before you confirm.

How does paying with Whish work?

Choose Whish as the payment method and you are sent to Whish, where you approve the payment in your Whish app. No card number is needed. Once Whish confirms the payment you land back on the confirmation page with your ticket.

Sometimes the confirmation takes a minute or two. You do not need to pay again: the confirmation email is sent as soon as the payment clears, and the ticket appears under My Tickets. No ticket is issued for a payment that Whish did not confirm.

Where does your ticket go after you pay?

The ticket is a QR code and it reaches you in more than one place: on the confirmation page straight after payment, in the confirmation email, in the Blend app, and under My Tickets on the website once you sign in.

Depending on the event, the ticket page also lets you download a PDF and add a pass to Apple Wallet, or to Google Wallet where that button is offered. If you booked for several people, the order carries a ticket for each guest.

What should you bring to the door?

Your phone, charged, with the ticket open. Staff scan the QR code from the screen, so turn the brightness up and have it ready before you reach the front of the queue. A printed PDF works too when the event offers one.

Some high demand events use a rotating barcode: the code on the ticket refreshes on a timer, and a screenshot does not scan. For those, open the live ticket from your email, the app or My Tickets. Each ticket admits once, so do not share a copy of your code. Check the event page for anything else the organizer asks for.

What if the ticket does not arrive?

Check the spam folder of the email address you entered, then sign in to My Tickets. If the payment is still processing, give it a couple of minutes before trying again, so you are not charged twice. Still stuck? Contact Blend support with the event name and the email you used.

Can you get a refund on an event ticket?

It depends on the event. Blend is the ticketing platform, not the organizer, and each organizer sets the refund and cancellation terms for their own event, so read them on the event page before you buy.

To ask for a refund, contact the organizer or Blend support with your order reference. A refund the organizer approves goes back to the payment method you used. The processing fee is not refundable, except where the law requires it.
