Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work on the Blend platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Blend’s role

When you buy a Credential or top up a cashless balance, you contract with the Organizer for the Event; Blend collects payment on the Organizer’s behalf as a limited agent. Decisions about whether to refund the ticket price for an Event, and on what terms, are made by the Organizer, not by Blend.

2. Organizer refund terms

• Each Organizer sets its own refund, exchange and cancellation terms for its Event. Please review the Event listing and the Organizer’s terms before you buy.
• Where an Organizer authorizes a refund, Blend will facilitate it to your original payment method, to the extent of the funds Blend holds or receives back for that order.
• Requests relating to an Event (wrong ticket, change of mind, duplicate purchase, personal circumstances) should be directed to the Organizer, or to Blend support so we can route them to the Organizer.

3. Blend fees are non-refundable

Blend’s service fee, platform fee and payment-processing charges cover services already provided at the time of purchase and are non-refundable, even where the Organizer refunds the ticket price, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

4. Cancelled or postponed events

• If an Event is cancelled, the Organizer is responsible for refunds of the ticket price. Where Blend still holds the relevant proceeds, Blend will facilitate refunds of amounts collected through the Platform in accordance with the Organizer’s instructions and applicable law. Where proceeds have already been settled to the Organizer, refunds are the Organizer’s responsibility.
• If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, Credentials are normally valid for the new date. Refund eligibility, if any, is determined by the Organizer.
• Blend does not guarantee that an Organizer has retained sufficient funds to meet refunds, and Blend is not liable for an Organizer’s failure to refund. See the limitation of liability in the Terms of Service.

5. Cashless top-ups & balances

• Refunds of unspent cashless balances, and the treatment of unspent or unclaimed balances after an Event (including any window and any handling of breakage), follow the Organizer’s cashless terms for the Event, subject to applicable law.
• Amounts already spent on-site are not refundable through Blend; queries about goods or services bought on-site are for the relevant vendor or Organizer.

6. Non-refundable items

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the following are non-refundable: Blend service, platform and processing fees; add-ons and items marked non-refundable at checkout; and Credentials voided due to fraud, resale in breach of the Terms, or tampering.

7. How to request a refund

1. Check the Organizer’s refund terms on the Event listing.
2. Contact the Organizer, or contact Blend support at support@blendapp.ai with your order reference and we will route your request to the Organizer where appropriate.
3. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider, typically several business days.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback, which can delay resolution. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of costs.
